With over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, I currently serve as a DevOps/Integration Engineer at a major company, where I apply my deep understanding of DevOps principles and best practices. I bring extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, Docker, AWS, and VMware, as well as a strong background in building and managing High Availability and High Load systems, including Kafka, HAProxy, NGINX, Varnish, and Redis.

As a DevOps engineer, I have designed and implemented CI/CD pipelines, automated infrastructure deployment using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins, and developed containerized solutions with Docker to optimize resource utilization and scalability. My experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, allows me to create cost-effective, highly available architectures using services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.

In addition to infrastructure automation, I’ve developed utility tools in Golang to enhance system performance and reliability. I also maintain and support several applications written in Python, ensuring smooth integration with our infrastructure. Over the years, I’ve written numerous Bash scripts for automating tasks, simplifying deployments, and managing system configurations, making processes more efficient and reducing manual intervention.

I emphasize monitoring and observability, utilizing tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix to ensure system health and proactively address issues before they escalate. Adhering to infrastructure as code (IaC) principles, I ensure consistency, scalability, and replicability across environments, leveraging version control systems like Git, GitLab, and GitHub for efficient collaboration.

My deep expertise in Linux systems enables me to fine-tune performance, enhance security, and troubleshoot at the kernel level. Whether it’s optimizing processes, managing network configurations, or tuning file systems, I ensure that systems run at peak efficiency, even under high demand.

For over 10 years, I’ve been working with RouterOS, the OS behind MikroTik devices. My work spans across a broad range of network solutions, including routing, QoS, traffic management, bonding, trunking, VPN setups, and integration with Radius servers.

Additionally, I have substantial experience in VoIP technologies, including setting up Asterisk servers, Audiocodes VoIP gateways, managing SIP trunks, and handling call centers with over 50 endpoints.

While I worked extensively with the Ruby on Rails framework for over 8 years, and built a solid foundation in Ruby, I haven’t actively written in Ruby for more than 3 years. During my Ruby period, I developed numerous projects using popular gems like Devise, Kaminari, and Paperclip, and gained significant experience in building REST and GraphQL APIs.
